Office 2000 SP-2 provides the latest product updates to Office 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1). Office 2000 SP-2 is particularly useful to corporate customers, and can also be installed by small business or individual users. This update can be applied to Office 2000 SR-1 Standard, Premium, Professional, or Small Business Office editions. The updates include:**Outlook 2000 SR-1 Update: E-mail Security**Word 2000 Update: Proofing Tools Hyphenation**Word 2000 SR-1 Update: Mail Command Security**Office 2000 Security Update: HTML Data**Excel 2000 Security Update: REGISTER.ID**Excel/PowerPoint 2000 SR-1 Update: HTML Script Vulnerability**Outlook 2000 Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) Update: Security**Word 2000 Mail Merge Security Update.Office 2000 SP-2 will install successfully even if one or more of the these updates has already been installed on your computer. Office 2000 SP-2 does not contain any updates included the Office 2000 SR-1; that is, SP-2 is NOT cumulative of SR-1. SR-1 or SR-1a must be installed before installing SP-2. Make sure that SR-1 or SR-1a is installed before performing this installation. There is no uninstall feature included with this download. (The Office 2000 MultiLanguage Pack SP-2 will be available at a later date, to be announced. Office 2000 SP-2 is fully compatible with Office 2000 and Office 2000 SR-1 MultiLanguage Packs.)
